Purchase Order Requirements

To process purchase orders with the utmost efficiency, please ensure the following information is supplied on POs as appropriate:

• Bill to Address
• Ship to Address
• FOB Terms
• Payment Terms
• Preferred Shipping Method, include collect account number if applicable
• Point of Sale Information
• Correct Pricing/Quote Reference
• Complete Part Number along with applicable information such as:
• Servo motor make and model for gear reducers (LP+, SP+, etc.)
• Servo controller make and model for servo actuators (TPM+, TPMP+, etc.)
• Tip type for ternary linear products (TLSA, TLSB, etc.)
• Special Products require detailed information, i.e item code, paint color, lubrication, mounting orientation, etc.

Warranty

Returns Policy

Please see the below information which details our returns for credit policy.

• No returns will be accepted for gearboxes originally shipped more than 6 months ago.
• A restocking fee of 30% of the originally invoiced price will be charged.
• Returns with missing bushings and adapter plates will be charged at current prices.
• A returned gearbox has to be in new condition.
• Gearboxes should be properly packaged for shipment. If the gearboxes and/or additional parts arrive damaged, the customer will be notified immediately and their credit could be denied. RMA number should be on the outside of the package.
• It is recommended that the shipment be insured while in transit.
• WITTENSTEIN, Inc.will inspect and evaluate the condition of the returned material. The shipping and handling expenses will be covered by the customer.
• WITTENSTEIN, Inc. reserves the right to reject a return for slow moving and/or special gearboxes.

Returns will be handled in the following manner:

• We ask customers to supply:
  • Original Purchase Order and WITTENSTEIN, Inc. Sales Order number (if possible)
  • Model
  • Serial Number
  • Contact Person, Telephone and Fax Number
• Wittenstein’s Customer Service Dept. will contact the customer with a Return Materials Authorization Number (RMA).
• The customer is asked to then ship the product with RMA No. printed on the Packing Slip to :
