Aktiv8 Software

Aktiv8 is a software program which runs in real time on the system control module (SCM). It utilizes the configuration file set to define the device characteristics and also controls the communications with the host.

Wittenstein's Aktiv8 application software is made up of the Aktiv8 control software and the configuration file set.

The force-feel characteristics, dynamic response characteristics and programmable features of the system control loading devices are set by means of data values and look-up tables held in a set of files that are known as the “configuration file set”. The configuration file set is made up of one primary configuration file, Master Curve files, Add-in files and other characteristics files.

The Aktiv Toolkit can be installed on any PC with a USB port and running Microsoft Windows 2000 or XP.
